Battle of Königgrätz

There was war in 1866. Austria and Prussia fought for the control over Germany. At Königgrätz there two armies met and battled. Both sides had heavy losses. But Prussia won and a few years later Germany was formed. German Historical Museum planned in 2016 a special exhibition to celebrate the anniversary of this decisive battle.

Explore

Visitors could explore the stages of the battle with this information table. Animated loop effects were projected from above on top of the table. It was a collaboration between Edouard (design) and me (animation).
